1. I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.
2. No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry.
3. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.
4. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touched your heart.
5. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have them.
6. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.
7. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
8. Don't waste your time on a man/woman, who isn't willing to waste their time on you.
9. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.
10. Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.
11. There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting and just be more careful about who you trust next time around.
12. Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you.

I hate being a romantic sometimes.

Its really sad that we know all of these and yet when we read them and think about them these simple notions all seem new to us. My favorite one is the first one. What better testament to the the ability of love that it can transform you into who you want to be when you are with the right person. I'm kinda iffy about number two, because with everything even love, you get your mix of tears and laughter. Number three, another of my favorites, probably one of the most universally felt notions, I think, because we all have these notions of how we want to be loved. Okay I'm not going to go through each of these and examine them, you ponder them. See how I stopped at number four because it has that whole friendship theme to it and I have written enough about friendship in here over the last year to make a person want to hurl their Captain Crunch. That's a perfect good waste of Captain Crunch. So there is where I stop. Besides who wants to read what I have to say about them anyway, besides the fact that you are reading my diary in the first place ,but really, that doesn't mean anything does it?

I think my neck is allergic to cologne. Cuz any time I put cologne on, and it really doesn't matter which one, my neck itches like crazy. At first I thought it was the lotion, but nope, its cologne. And its only my neck. I can spray it anywhere else, but I get it on my neck, the front side, the hollow under my adams apple for example and I'm itching like a mad man. So if I'm itching like a mad man today, you know why. Its rather irritating.

I didn't tell you about Les Miserables. Its was incredible. It really was. It was almost as good as the british version, but when you see the british version in London, well seeing the American version in Fort Worth, while indeed it was at the lovely and quite spectacular Bass Hall, I think location is the only thing that made the London one better. And the accents. I had the songs going through my head last night at work, and I was having a whole little broadway play going through my head except it was being interrupted constantly by people wanting to buy books. I could understand if they wanted programs or something, but no, books. A drawback to working at a bookstore, i suppose. But it was very good. You should see it if you have an opportunity. You know its the second longerst running show on broadway next to that feline monstrosity, not that I have anything against cats mind you, except for there's this one who must be demon possessed and has a fear of all things good ,because he doesn't like me that much, which is just incredibly odd cuz most animals like me, but that is neither here nor there.

I'm off work today. Its nice. No school, not that I had a huge workload at school anyway, but still, no school, no work, just lounging around the apartment, reading, playing on the internet.

Derek's finally back from vacation. We're, okay HE'S going job hunting today and I am going to accompany him. He doesn't want to work at Joe's Crab Shack anymore. Apparently the dancing and fun of the job, doesn't outweigh the fact that he isn't making any money. So hi ho hi ho, its off to find a new job he goes. Either that or come Thursday he has to go back to Joe's. Poor thing.

I really don't have much else to say, I guess. Journal's a bit dry today. Alas not much going on round these here parts as of late. "sigh" I guess. I need to go and write the great american novel. But what to write, what to write. hmmmmmm A little brainstorming might be necessary. I'll get back to you on that. Until then I need to go take a shower. I'm feeling grungy. So read me later. You can go and read about Derek's cruise with his parents . You'll notice that it has been edited. You'll notice he didn't tell you how much he ate on the boat. Not that its my place to do so. :) That would be wrong. lol Okay I'm gone
